Cookie Policy

This policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on ValidMail.

Last updated: March 28, 2026

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device to support authentication, security, performance, and analytics functions.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage for preference persistence.

Cookie categories used by ValidMail

We currently use the following categories of cookies and local storage items:

  • Strictly necessary: required for login sessions, security checks, and core product delivery.
  • Analytics: usage measurement through Google Analytics to improve performance and product decisions.

Default analytics setting and opt-out

Analytics is enabled by default in ValidMail.

You can disable analytics at any time through the cookie preference banner. Disabling analytics does not block core product functionality.

Cookie retention and expiry

Cookie lifetime depends on purpose. Session cookies are deleted when your browser session ends; persistent cookies remain for a defined period or until manually removed.

Preference records are stored to respect your analytics choice on future visits.

Third-party services

When analytics is enabled, Google Analytics may set cookies according to Google configuration and policies.

Payment and hosting providers may also process technical identifiers as part of secure service delivery.
